Peanuts started in 1950 and had a good run till 2000, with new series being published periodically. But after the creator passed away, there were no more comics. However, even today, the TV specials are streamed popularly and are loved by everyone alike.
The story revolves around a group of children, with the main character being Charlie Brown. Charlie is a kid who isn’t the best when it comes to self-confidence. He has peers like Lucy, Woodstock, Snoopy, Franklin, Lucy van Pelt, Linus van Pelt, Peppermint Patty and Sally Brown. The premise of these comics is based on the interactions and adventures of the group. Their conversations are laced with humour and a tinge of wholesomeness which is what makes it worthwhile.
Even in the world of television, Peanuts shot a homerun! Peanuts made it to the Emmy Awards, with many of its series being nominated and some even winning the prestigious awards. Needless to say, it is one of the most famous names in the comic world!
