Portside, codename - project sidekick was conceived in the thick of the pandemic in March 2020 when the need for good booze was at an all-time high but everyone was drinking cheap beers and old rums and expensive gins that remained untouched for years on, that only came out of their dad’s dusty bar cabinets because almost nobody was well stocked for the lockdown. We dreamt, because we couldn’t drink..the derivative of this dream was STRONG. The Portside always reminds us of travels and expeditions, which were impossible at the time and to an extent even now, you see the sea monster on the label is symbolic in nature..reminds you of a virus, doesn’t it?
