Dumbledore’s Army is a secret organisation which was formed in the Order of the Phoenix. After Harry Potter and Professor Dumbledore inform the Minister Cornelius Fudge, of the Dark Lord’s return, he refuses to believe this fact. He does everything within his powers to suppress Harry and Dumbledore’s efforts to prepare people to deal with the Dark Lord’s return.
He goes as far as removing Dumbledore as the Headmaster of Hogwarts and appointing a new teacher for the study of Defence Against Dark Arts who renders them debilitated against Lord Voldemort.
This gives rise to Dumbledore’s Army where Harry Potter assembles a team and shares his knowledge on the subject to have the students to be equipped against the challenges that are yet to come!
